Camp Blackbaud

Camp Blackbaud is a 2-day event designed to bridge the opportunity gap for students from under-resourced neighborhoods and schools to highlight the importance of a STEM education. Our employees use their passion for technology and encourage students that a career in technology is possible, no matter your background!

Community Involvement

Blackbaud employees are active participants in our communities, all around the world. By celebrating holidays and commemorations that support our people and our culture, we are able to create a belonging and inclusive workplace.

Education and Training

We provide necessary training and development opportunities to our employees. By offering LinkedIn® Learning courses and employee trainings such as unconscious bias and respect at work, we continue to educate our employees on the importance of creating an inclusive workplace.

ESG Commitment

Blackbaud has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative, expanding on our commitment to our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program. We are committed to turning the UN Global Compact's 10 fundamental principles into practice, and making them part of our company's strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations.

In order to create an equal workplace and world for all, we must strive to create an impact globally. Our Global Diversity Council aggregates insights and feedback from our employees around the world to help guide our future DEI programs at Blackbaud.

BLEND is a team of African-American employees and allies excited to focus on mentoring, social well-being, and community service at Blackbaud. Members of the group serve as mentors for their peers, assisting each person on their career journey within the company. The group also engages actively in the community through meaningful service opportunities.

Early in Careers is a group of people within their first 6 years of working in a company looking to network with professionals inside and outside of their current department. Members will receive mentorship from guest speakers and explore different opportunities for professional development.

HOLA is a group of proud employees advocating for awareness and inclusion of Hispanic culture within Blackbaud to foster and further grow the company's diversity. We are excited to unite in efforts to better serve our local community and champion the advancement of Hispanic youth toward opportunities in the technology industry. This group welcomes members of all backgrounds with an emphasis on supporting various Hispanic cultures.

Limitless empowers employees impacted personally or through relationships by conditions such as; hearing loss, visual impairments, intellectual/developmental disabilities, neuro-atypical conditions, mobility challenges, and chronic illness. This group will drive internal awareness, collaborate with internal groups/product teams to design accessible products, and help to create an environment that's inclusive for all.

PRIDE provides an inclusive space for personal and professional networking for LGBTQ+ employees and allies at Blackbaud. Our visible presence in the greater community demonstrates Blackbaud's commitment to diversity and inclusion to recruit new talent. We foster a welcoming and inclusive community and provide advocacy and a safe space on behalf of our members to the larger Blackbaud community. We are welcoming and open to all LGBTQ+ employees and allies at Blackbaud.

Social Impact Champions exists to unite and empower individuals who are interested in nonprofit board service, diversity and inclusion, and other social good initiatives. We achieve this through our speaker series, leadership development opportunities, and encouraging collaborative knowledge-sharing.

The Sustainability group welcomes anyone interested in increasing employee awareness about how to lead a more sustainable life. We do this by educating our peers on how to reduce waste and be more environmentally conscious, as well as suggesting ways to enhance our own office operations.

Women in Sales aims to foster the personal and professional development of its members to reach their highest goals and aspirations. Through networking, mentorship, and a supportive community of nearly 200 people, WIS provides its members with the tools they need to make an impact in sales and in their future professional pursuits.

Women in Tech provides a collaborative forum to discuss and address topics specific to women in technology positions or working in a technology field. We seek to help female leaders advance personally and professionally, while empowering them to play a critical role in shaping the greater community.

The Working Moms affinity group seeks to create an active, supportive community of people who identify as mothers across Blackbaud through daily communication, networking, affirmation, strategy, and humor. We believe that it is possible to be fulfilled both as a mother and as an employee and that the two need not compete!

Veterans Engaged Through Service (VETS) helps military veterans feel supported and connected in the work environment, while helping others understand how different workplace concerns and opportunities play out for those who have served. By connecting past service members and their supporters with each other and with resources, we seek to help increase awareness about the unique needs and skills of veterans and to help them with their own career development across the company.

It has allowed me to meet and interact with a fantastic number of colleagues who I would not normally interact with and being able to take a leadership role in the Pride and Working Families Affinity Groups has helped me to develop myself personally and professionally. I am glad that I can bring my whole self and my intersectional identity to work everyday!
